Netflix's upcoming Wednesday comedy trailer shows Morticia and Gomez Addams' daughter as much of a social butterfly as her misanthrope father. Although Wednesday Addams may not enjoy the people with whom she chooses to mingle, that doesn't mean she isn't doing her best to connect with them.

As Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) gets expelled from another “normal” school for terrorizing her fellow students, the first trailer introduces her character. She is not surprised at all by her parents (Catherine Zeta-Jones) or mother (Luis Guzman).

Despite knowing that Wednesday is just being herself and protecting her brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), Wednesday's parents also understand that for her to get a solid education, she needs a school that understands her.

With classes focused on deadly duels and otherworldly creatures, Nevermore Academy, run by Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie), is a better fit for Wednesday.

When Wednesday debuts on Netflix this fall, it will be hard to predict whether the rest of Nevermore's students are ready for the madness Wednesday's newest student will bring.
